YMBA Senior Domestic Competition

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR OUR SENIOR AUTUMN COMP 2026

The YMBA senior men's & women's basketball season starts the week of  FEBRUARY 4th 2026 - Players must be at least 15 years old (at the start of the season) to play.

Registration closes Thursday 29th January 2026  - please spread the word, as requests for late registrations after this date cannot be guaranteed

Details: 

8 week round robin comp (no finals). 

Season starts -  

WOMENS : Starts Wed 4th Feb, from 6.40pm.  Wednesday night for first 4 wks, then either Tues or Wed night the 2nd 4 weeks (due to juniors starting and court availability)

MENS : Starts Thursday 5th February, from 6.30pm

Finishes - The week of March 25/26th.                                              

NOTE: You may register individually and be placed in a team or nominate players you'd like to play with - done on registration form.

YMBA Senior Seasons General Information

YMBA runs two senior domestic seasons per year, comprising of two 8 week round-robin seasons for separate mens and womens basketball comps.

Season 1 - February to March

Season 2 - October to November

Fees

Seniors:

-$81.55 YMBA Fee (includes 1.9% PlayHQ Fee)

-$43.00 Basketball Vic Senior Participation Licence Fee (if not current) which covers 18yrs+ players for 12 months from the time it was last paid.

-$5.50 Basketball Australia Participant Fee (Game Development Levy) due on an annual basis.

PlayHQ also charge a 1.89% service fee on all transactions - added at the time of checkout.

Women's - Tuesday/Wednesday nights

Men's - Thursday nights
